Are you interested in working with young people, debates, and group facilitation?
Join our 2-day training for youth mentors and develop practical skills for working with young people.

👥 Who can apply?
Young people aged 21–30, especially students of education, social work, and related fields.
🎯 What will you gain?
- public speaking and group facilitation skills
- methods of non-formal education
- knowledge on leading debates and fostering critical thinking
- practical experience for working with youth in schools
- understanding of ethical and legal aspects of youth work
📚 After the training, you will take part in delivering 2-hour debate workshops in schools and youth centres, where students will develop argumentation skills, critical thinking, and respectful discussion.
💡 The most motivated participants will form teams and represent their school or youth centre in a debate competition.
💸 Participation is free of charge.
ISZ covers food, learning materials, and travel costs (public transport) for participants coming from outside Ljubljana.

Depending on the profiles of the participants, we will execute this workshops in Slovene or/and English. The application is available ONLY in Slovene due to further activities.
