Advocacy Hub is an organisation based in Ljubljana that operates at local, national and international levels. Our work is based on promoting human rights, democracy, active citizenship and an inclusive and solidarity-based society.

We believe that human rights are not merely a legal framework, but an integral part of the everyday lives of individuals and communities. We therefore strive to promote a greater understanding of human rights, democratic values and active participation, and to integrate these into youth work, education and wider society.

we encourage active participation and individual as well as social responsibility,
we support the inclusion of people with fewer opportunities,
we link personal stories to social issues,
and, through initiatives and projects, we contribute to positive social change at local and international levels.

We place particular emphasis on non-formal education, intercultural cooperation, social inclusion, sustainability, digitalisation and youth work. We provide young people and educators with a range of opportunities for learning, training, international cooperation and the development of skills for active participation in the community.

International projects and partnerships form an important part of our work, as we believe that the exchange of experiences, knowledge and best practice contributes to innovative, sustainable and inclusive solutions. We take part in European programmes that promote human rights, democracy, active citizenship, youth participation and support for vulnerable groups.

Our work is based on combining community action with systemic change. We empower individuals to understand their rights, exercise them and play an active role in shaping society. At the same time, we connect their experiences, needs and initiatives with institutions, partners and decision-makers.

We create a space for dialogue, collaboration and learning, and build communities based on respect, equality, tolerance and solidarity.
