KA220-YOU - Cooperation partnerships in youth, Diverse Societies and Digital Participation (DIVE)
Project number: 2024-2-DE04-KA220-YOU-000267052

We are pleased to announce the launch of a new international project "Diverse Societies and Digital Participation," funded by the Erasmus+ program and coordinated by the German organization ViaKreaktion. The project started in June 2025 and will last for 28 months, involving five partners from five countries: Germany, Slovenia, the Netherlands, Italy, and Portugal.

PROJECT GOALS:

The project addresses contemporary challenges of youth inclusion and digital transformation in diverse societies with four main objectives:

1. Strengthen the digital competences of youth workers for working with young people from diverse backgrounds.
2. Promote tolerance and diversity through non-formal education and digital tools.
3. Increase cooperation between the youth, education, and public sectors.
4. Raise awareness of European values, opportunities for participation, and inclusion strategies.

PROJECT EXPECTED RESULTS:

  • An online learning platform with multimedia content on human rights, migration, media literacy, and active citizenship.
  • Training courses and online seminars for youth workers and educators.
  • Local training and mentoring for young people in all partner countries.
  • International mobility and workshops for co-creating solutions with the participation of young people.
  • Intercultural “WELCOME” city guide with digital storytelling to promote inclusion.
  • Round tables, a joint working document, and local presentation events to disseminate results and connect stakeholders.

Between 30th June and 1st July a starting meeting of the consortium was held, hosted by the coordinating organization. ViaKreaktion from Kleve, Germany. The meeting was attended by project managers from all partner organizations, including:

The meeting was intended to coordinate activities, confirm common goals, and initiate cooperation on the first project tasks. In addition, we also visited a local organization that works in the field of immigrant integration through music. Their representative showed us the beautiful city of Kleve. After the meeting, we also visited our partner organization Dar al Yasmin in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. How wonderful it is to travel around the EU without borders, isn't it?

We invite you to follow us (Instgram ali Facebook), to join us in the realization and implementation of the project, if you wish to contribute to these important and innovative strategies for the integration of immigrants and foreign students into your local environment. Every opinion and action counts.
