SMART RECYCLING

SMART RECYCLING

The journey began with an early arrival at the airport, where participants met up before traveling together to Iscar, Spain. The team from Slovenia, along with other international teams, settled into their hostel rooms and gathered for the first time in the meeting room for introductions, followed by a hearty dinner to kick off the week.

The group arrived in Iscar, where they spent the first day playing games to get to know each other and enjoying dinner. The second day was dedicated to exploring the city and Spanish culture, with a focus on photo hunting and a cultural evening showcasing Spain. On the third day, participants took part in workshops on environmental issues, including pollution and recycling, and enjoyed a Romanian cultural evening. On the fourth day, they explored Santovencia de Pisuerga and Valladolid and took part in a Greek cultural evening. On the fifth day, they delved into climate change and sustainable solutions and learned about Slovenian culture, with a special focus on local food and customs. Day 6 explored Segovia and Estonian culture, while Day 7 focused on the industries of the future with workshops and an Italian cultural evening. The last day was spent with games and the Youthpass certificate ceremony, before heading out to explore Madrid before heading home. The Erasmus+ project allowed participants to exchange cultural experiences, learn about environmental challenges and create lasting friendships.
